Privacy Policy

Effective 8 September 2026

This policy describes how Meritcomm Telekomünikasyon Hizmetleri Limited Şirketi (“Meritcomm”, “we”) handles information in connection with the Zura mobile application. Zura is intended for authorized personnel of organizations that operate or support broadband networks.

Information handled by Zura

Zura processes the information needed to authenticate users, enforce their organization’s access rules, and provide network-assurance functions. Depending on the customer installation, this may include:

Information stored on the device

The application stores its selected installation configuration, authentication state, and a user-scoped list of recently viewed modems. Authentication state is stored using the iOS Keychain. Recent entries can be removed from the Search screen. Signing out removes the local authentication state; changing installation removes both the authentication state and installation configuration.

How information is used

Tracking and advertising

Zura does not use information for third-party advertising and does not track users across apps or websites owned by other companies. The current application does not include an advertising SDK or a third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDK.

Roles, service providers, and customer environments

The customer organization generally determines which personnel may use Zura, their access scope, and the purposes and retention of operational network data. For these activities, the customer organization generally acts as the data controller and Meritcomm processes information on its documented instructions to provide and support the contracted Zura service.

Meritcomm acts as a data controller where it independently determines the purposes and means of processing, including support correspondence sent directly to Meritcomm and records required for service security, misuse prevention, and Meritcomm’s legal obligations. The precise allocation of responsibilities may be governed by the applicable customer agreement and law.

Zura may use infrastructure and identity-service providers solely to deliver and secure the service. Customer production data is ordinarily processed within the relevant customer installation. Providers acting for Meritcomm are required to handle information consistently with their contractual and legal obligations.

Retention and account requests

Zura accounts are provisioned by an organization rather than created in the mobile application. Account information is retained while the customer relationship and the user’s authorized access remain active. Access is disabled immediately when an account is deactivated. Following a verified deletion request, associated personal information is deleted or anonymized within 30 days unless continued retention is required by law or the applicable customer agreement.

System and security logs are retained only as necessary for operation and security and are not intentionally retained for more than 90 days. They may be removed earlier through log rotation or service deployment. If centralized log collection is introduced, that system will use an equivalent or shorter retention period. Support conversations are retained for 12 months after the request is closed. Operational network data follows the retention terms and product configuration agreed with the relevant customer organization.

Users who want their account deactivated or their associated personal information reviewed or deleted should contact their organization administrator or Zura Support. If a request concerns information controlled by the customer organization, Meritcomm may refer the request to that organization and assist it as required by the applicable agreement and law.

Security

Zura uses encrypted HTTPS connections for released mobile installations and industry-standard OpenID Connect authentication. No system can guarantee absolute security, but Meritcomm applies technical and organizational controls appropriate to the service.

Changes

We may update this policy when the product or its data practices change. The effective date above will identify the current version.
